Somethings up.
Hi. I am an Australian Blue Heeler. I was born on June 16, 2014 so that makes me just a little over 7 weeks old. I live on a farm way out in the country at the end of a really long lane. I sleep under a pickup truck with my 6 brothers and sisters. Most of my days are spent just playing in the yard and wrestling and exploring and taking naps. That is me by the tire. The lady is pointing at me! |
There was a lady here last Friday looking at me. She was holding me and was all happy to see me. I heard people talking about me being big enough to go on Saturday August 9th. She said she was going to call me "Cooper". She seemed like a really nice lady. I can't wait till Saturday. I hope she doesn't forget me. Check back after Saturday and I'll let you know what happens.
Cooper, just want you to know that that lady pointing to you is the best there is to take in New puppies. Her home is just what you are looking for. A puppy's dream come true. She will love you unconditionally and take the best of care of you. You a 're so lucky she picked you. I promise you Happy life with her and her family.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouraging words Kay. All of us puppies are really excited for Saturday and a little nervous. I did find out that one of my sisters is going to be named "Dingo" and will be heading up north. We will be able to keep in touch because she is going to have her own twitter account! ---- Coop
DeleteCooper...I will look forward to hearing about all your new adventures in Airville!
ReplyDeleteAs a retired person myself, I will have time to follow all your "puppy tails"!!
Airville??!! Wow. That is where I was born. You mean my humans are from Airville and I will get to live in my own home town? Wow, thanks Bonnie. I hope they have some cows. I am ready to learn to be a true heeler and give them cows a nip to show em who's boss! -- Coop
DeleteHey Cooper lucky u! What a great home u will have and they r retired now so travel or road trips may be in yr future! Looking forward to those posts from the road
ReplyDeleteThanks. That is good to hear. I will have to figure out how to post directly from my mobile phone. --- Coop
DeleteTomorrow is your big day Cooper!! I am sure you and your humans are very excited for this adventure!! I know you will be very happy in your new home that will be filled with love and laughter!! Keep me posted how you are doing.
ReplyDeleteI am ready Bonnie! It is already starting to get cold sleeping under this truck. One of my brothers left last night. His name is "Hank" and his person is a friend of one of my people so we will be able to keep in touch. ---- Coop
DeleteHi Coop, Seems you lucked out and got a wonderful new home. I know your new family and they are all great folks. I did read about heelers and found out that you guys like to rule the roost and also like to herd cats. Take it easy on them, they are the best family you could ever have. You probably already have them wrapped around your little paw. When you wake up go round up those cats and please try to not make a lot of messes for the misses. Can't wait to meet you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Herb and Lin. Come down and see me when you can. I am clean. I wasn't here an hour yet before I had my first bath. --- Coop
DeleteI knew this would be a great day for you Cooper!!! I know your humans love you very much. Remember that taking naps when you are a puppy is a good thing....makes you stronger as you are growing. Ask one of your humans to give you a hug from me!!
ReplyDeleteWill do. My college human is home for the weekend so I am getting lots of hugs and exercise today. -- Coop
DeleteHi Cooper. You are a lucky dog and I am sure you will have no trouble training these humans, cats, who knows.
ReplyDeleteI am trying. These humans seem a little dense but if I am patient they may learn a few tricks. The cats, well I already have them trained to go and hide. -- Coop
